He is the Managing Partner of M/s Laxminiwas & Co., Chartered Accountants, Hyderabad, and has successfully led audit and advisory engagements for leading multinational corporations, public sector undertakings, and private enterprises.
An elected Central Council Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), CA. Sharma has been serving the profession with distinction through his leadership in several key committees and strategic initiatives of the Institute. He is currently the Chairman of the Peer Review Board (PRB) and the Centre of Excellence, Hyderabad. He also serves as Vice-Chairman of the Digital Accounting and Assurance Board (DAAB) and the Financial Reporting Review Board (FRRB), while contributing as a Board Member of the Quality Review Board (QRB) and XBRL India. Additionally, he is associated with the UDIN Directorate, the Digital Transformation Process Re-engineering Group (DTPRG), and several other Central Committees of ICAI.
