Durgesh Kumar Kabra is a senior Chartered Accountant, Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), practising professional, and an experienced office-bearer of ICAI. He has more than three decades of professional experience covering audit, taxation, corporate law, governance, insolvency, valuation and business advisory. He is also the Founder and Managing Partner of D M K H & Co.
CA. Durgesh Kumar Kabra has had a long association with ICAI's institutional activities at regional and national levels.
He is presently a Central Council Member of ICAI; his name appears in the official composition of the 24th Council under the Western Region.
One of his prominent current responsibilities is as Chairman/Convenor of the Beneficiary Schemes Directorate (BSD), ICAI. The Directorate focuses on developing and facilitating beneficial products and services for ICAI members and students, including professional development, healthcare, insurance, banking, wellness, software and other member-benefit initiatives.
CA. Kabra has played an active role in initiatives aimed at strengthening the career and professional development of Chartered Accountants working in industry and business.
He has served as Chairman of the Committee for Members in Industry & Business (CMI&B). Initiatives associated with his leadership included:
• Executive Development Programmes for young CAs
• Business Leadership Development Programmes
• Management Development Programmes
• Programmes for CFOs and Directors
• Master Programme for Independent Directors
• Career-oriented initiatives for experienced Chartered Accountants

His initiatives for members have included access to professional software, technology solutions, CPE opportunities and other tools intended to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of CA practitioners.
